Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Although this project consists of small items, they will make a huge impact on the daily instruction and learning within the classroom. As we start a new year, many of our classroom items need to be refreshed! I have many materials to share with my students (crayons, pencils, Post-its, highlighters, etc) but need an organizational system in place. These storage options will allow each group of students to have quick, and easy access to necessary materials.

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is crucial in the classroom, students need the essential skills to manage their emotions.

The students will use the anti-anxiety, fidget toys within the classroom to help regulate their own emotions and allow them to learn their best. This project will help to enhance their educational achievements. In addition, student privacy boards will allow students to have their own space when needed.
