This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have been selected to teach second grade at my school for the upcoming academic year of 2024-2025. This is an incredible opportunity for me to continue to inspire young minds and further develop my teaching skills. I will be teaching Language Arts and Writing in both English and Spanish to a total of 44 students, split evenly between my two classes. This is an amazing opportunity, and I need your help!
Second grade will be departmentalized, and I am determined to uphold a meticulously structured classroom to ensure my students have the optimal learning environment.
As an educator, I aim to provide my students with a structured learning environment that optimizes transitions and learning time. A well-ordered classroom allows students to perform at their best by eliminating distractions and providing easy access to all materials, resulting in a seamless classroom experience. The majority of my students come from low-income families. I strive to create a calm and structured learning environment to help them become inspired.
Maintaining a well-organized workspace can help my students maximize their productivity and efficiency while providing a clear mind to focus on their learning goals. The storage carts I am requesting will help me keep the workstation materials in order, allowing my students to practice the skills learned in the classroom with ease. As an educator, I am passionate about providing my second grade students with a classroom that inspires success. I understand the importance of creating a learning environment that is both safe and supportive, where students feel valued and excited about learning. By demonstrating my care and support for every student, I am confident that I can foster their love of learning and help them achieve their full potential.
