My Project
I love that my students are very excited to be in front and up close in group demonstrations! The thing about it is it’s not fair for one person to be in front of the other. It interferes with giving each student an equal representation of what will be expected for them to do later.
There is nothing like giving a demonstration to the class and students barely being able to see.
When I use the school-provided document camera it gives a fuzzy image (which is not good for pencil markings) or incorrect colorizations. This prevents all of that and keeps students engaged in the lesson in all the correct ways. No more pushing their way to the front of a group demonstration to be in front or being distracted by the fuzziness/ discoloration. With this Document Camera they can be completely focused on the task at hand. We can’t wait to see how much it improves our everyday class work.
