My Students
Loving, caring, respectful and energetic describe my Pre-K students. The ability to teach and help children grow and progress to the next level brings me joy daily. My students learn through play, being creative, getting along with others, and using their fine and gross motor skills to learn and develop.
Children learn as they play.
Most importantly, in play children learn how to learn.
Learning is fun, and my students are excited daily to learn new material. My students enjoy using their imagination and creativity in the classroom.
My Project
In the Pre-K classroom setting, children using art supplies help them to express their ideas freely as they experiment with different materials. Children are able to express their thoughts and feelings through art. For example, I provide paper, paint, crayons, markers and let the children draw pictures and explain what they drew about.
I will be able to encourage children to use their communication skills, which help build their vocabulary whenever they do any art work.
This give me the opportunity to provide interesting and safe materials so children are able to model and show skills technique on their own.
