My Project

This project is to gain new decodable readers for my building! All teachers are expected to be implementing skills based groups during our SOAR time. These books allow teachers to meet students where they are and to help them grow as readers.

Being able to read unknown words is essential.

So many words we encounter as we grow are words we don't yet know. Having the ability to decode those words with ease helps as we become fluent readers. This is exactly what I want to help the students in my school be able to achieve.

I am also requesting a phonemic awareness book to help those K-1 kiddos develop the precursor skills so that they are ready attack the phonics skills in the decodable books.
