My Project

My second graders at an urban title 1 school know all the letters and their sounds. Now they need the magic of a good story to completely engage them and seal the deal! They are ready to become independent readers and just need the right books to set them on a course of life-long learning!

Please help me put the right book in my students' hands so they can find the joy, empowerment and pride of reading their first chapter book.

I have chosen books that match their interests and reading levels. Please help me stock my class library with books that will ignite the love of reading. Thank you!
