DEISEY Fundraiser: Diversity Equity & Inclusion Support for Early Years

My Project

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Support for Early Years (DEISEY) committee is devoted to creating diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning experiences for early childhood students across our program. So far this committee has been able to create learning experiences that are not only tailored to the needs of our exceptional learners, but also representative and inclusive of all cultures, backgrounds, and identities.

We would like to continue this mission of curating representative and inclusive learning experiences by inviting local cultural organizations to visit our school.

With this project, students and staff will be creating stickers to place on cups, and designing tote bags to fundraise for transportation costs for future cultural organizations to visit our school. The creation of their unique designs will allow students will be able to showcase their considerable talents via drawings, which will then be turned into cups, tote bags, and stickers for our upcoming fundraiser. With your donation, we will be able to foster a sense of community involvement by showcasing the talents and efforts of students, as we work toward a common goal.
