Hi! My name is Ms. Bernice, and I am a Special Education Teacher for an inclusion preschool program. I teach an Autism Support classroom full of wonderfully bright and exceptional preschoolers. My students are resilient, overcoming many cognitive, social, and/or physical challenges. They have done a wonderful job adjusting to the many changes to school and home brought about by the pandemic. The students in my classroom also have high sensory needs and learn best with materials and activities that meet those needs. Materials requested through these projects will help us in our mission to provide a play-based and developmentally appropriate learning environment for our students, even as our classroom and their world continue to change. Any donation in helping us in our mission will be greatly appreciated by our lovely preschoolers.
