Defying Expectations - Making an Artist Out of Anyone!

My Project

One of my main goals in my Arts & Crafts class is prove my students that anyone can be a artist. I want to prove that artistry isn't necessarily a born talent; it's a skill. And like any other skill, it is something that can be developed and improved.

One of the first units I want to do with my students is to teach them special tips and tricks in order for them to become good at drawing.

It is their choice what they want to draw, however I use the input of actual artists to let them see that they can be an artist too! I will also teach them how they can frame their finished work with nothing but basic cardboard cardstock.
