My Students

I teach 20 ten and eleven year old students. This is my first year teaching and as much as I would love to buy everything for my classroom, I am not able to. My students are some of my biggest joys. I have a blend of special personalities that make our classroom wonderful.

My students are some of the most selfless and kind kids I have ever met and I am lucky to be their teacher.

My Project

These books will be able to inspire students and encourage deep conversation between one another. These books also bring representation for all walks of life. My students greatly enjoy being able to discuss the books with their peers and make connections to their life. Being able to have these books would allow my students to hear each others experiences.

In guided reading, you meet students where they are and lead them forward with intention and precision.
