My Students

The fact that even on my worst of days my students can cheer me up instantly is just one of the many aspects I love about my students. They get excited about the smallest things as well as boost my confidence with their unconditional love and compliments every day. Every child has his/her strengths and weaknesses. Students also have their unique ways of learning and their own way of expressing that which has been learned. They are so incredibly talented and are eager to learn every day.

My students are curious, brave, and inspire me every day.

The special aspect about my students is when they make a meaningful connection to something I have taught them and in return, they want to learn more about it. Those are the moments I live for as a teacher. Being a teacher is a really meaningful job. I strive daily to make their childhood a little bit better and shed some light on it while helping them learn. I love building lasting relationships with my students and being able to see them become lifelong learners.

I am privileged to be a part of someone’s life story.

My Project

My current school district has implemented a hybrid model for learning. This model allows teachers to ensure that students are receiving the same lesson material in different ways to accommodate distinct learning styles. Teachers instruct three twenty-minute lessons in small groups. Three stations occur simultaneously, an independent computer station, collaborative station, and direct instruction. The model has increased students' performance and made learning more engaging with self-paced learning development.

My sweet fourth graders have a full school day filled with learning!

However, learning expectations require a lot of time to focus and concentrate. This is not an easy task when students are often distracted by their neighbor’s computer and progress while participating in the independent computer station. This resource will help support my students learning by giving them a quiet space to concentrate and block out the surrounding distractions. Thank you for considering donating to my project.
