Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'm teaching a fifth-grade Chinese immersion class. My students have been learning Chinese for four years. They mainly focused on listening and speaking. At the same time, reading and writing are also two important skills.
With your donation, my students will get simplified Chinese resources to help them develop their reading and writing skills.
This set of materials systematically connected the writing of Chinese characters with the texts. There are also online practices that are motivating for the students. If my students get to use the materials for one year in my class, their four skills of Chinese language will develop.
