My classroom is usually a hands-on, active, happy place. We always are excited about what is happening in class. But, the pandemic has absolutely squashed some of my and my students' energy. Our school is operating under a hybrid model, with three sets of students to teach, plan for, and lead to success. The school day has been shortened, field trips and outside visitors have been banned and labs have to be planned for personal, not group use. My students are absolutely the best and I want to give them great well-planned lessons EVERY day.
My Project
Never in my wildest dreams did I think that education would take such a wild ride since March. All teachers and students have had to rethink lessons and opportunities to facilitate learning. In my case, I need a dedicated computer that I can use mainly at home for my students. My days are long and I often work at home at night and on the weekends. My current home-based tech just can't handle what I need to do for my students. With this new computer, I will have dedicated tech for a virtual teach!
