My students need supplies to create a welcoming classroom for the upcoming 2015-2016 school year such as desk nameplates, border, bulletin board sets and pencils.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Do you remember your first day of second grade? I'm sure it was a special day filled with excitement and joy. I want to make my students' second grade year just as memorable. Therefore, I'm asking for your help to create a welcoming, visually appealing classroom for the upcoming school year.
I teach second grade at a public school in an urban city in Maryland.
My class for the upcoming 2015- 2016 school year will consist of approximately 26 students. I would like for their learning environment to not only be fun, but also inviting, visually appealing, and conducive to learning just as it is for my current group of students.
My Project
The items that I am requesting will enable me to create a visually pleasing learning environment. My classroom theme for the 2015-2016 school year is "Superhero Scholars", therefore the superhero themed bulletin board sets and accents, desk nameplates, border and welcome sign included in this project will add nicely to this classroom theme and produce an inviting, fun learning space.
