This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious, hands-on learners who love working outdoors. They come from diverse backgrounds and are always looking for ways to connect classroom learning to the real world. Our school garden has become a special place—a space for science, teamwork, and mindfulness. Now, they’re ready to take it to the next level by adding their own creative touch.

This project will provide garden decoration materials that allow students to personalize and beautify our school garden.

With items like paint, garden signs, and other weather-resistant supplies, my students will transform our garden into a colorful, welcoming learning space.

Students will work together to design, paint, and build decorations during our garden club meeting time. These activities promote creativity, responsibility, and a deepened connection to nature. Plus, they make our garden a more joyful place for all who visit!
