My Students

I am the proud teacher of 6-8 grade students with a passion for STEM. Together, the students and I have created an environment that supports sharing ideas, building trust, and passing no judgment through project-based learning.

Students develop their engineering skills through the process of designing, prototyping, testing, and redesigning.

From spending their lunch periods to complete a project, to organizing a school-wide Girls in STEM day, my students are driven to push past boundaries and shatter expectations. These students have no limitations to their creativity and determination. With the proper tools, they can become an unstoppable force.

My Project

Students learn through more than just textbooks and projects. They learn through their environment and absorb their surroundings.

By providing my students with access to Nano-leaf panels, they will not only be excited to come to school but can also help program how the room looks.

These panels use IFTT to control their display and must be connected to independent hubs. These panels help create a bridge between art design and programming in very hands-on experiences. Help up empower visual and hands-on learners through the power of Engineering Design.
