My Project

Our school has begun to embrace the science of reading. This means that children will be using a phonics-based curriculum to assist them in their quest to learn how to read.

Decoding is the key to learning how to read.

These books that I am asking for are broken up into the different parts of phonemic awareness. Each group of books will focus on vowels, blends, diphthongs, and higher-level spelling. My hope is that I can use the time they spend with me in literacy to zoom in on what they need as individuals, while also meeting the needs of all.
