This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our team, R.A.T.S. – Robotics And Technology Squad (Team #22448), is a group of high school students passionate about designing, building, and programming competitive robots. This year marks our 4th season competing in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) — an international robotics program where students create robots to solve real engineering challenges in a head-to-head game format.

Every FTC season is a new engineering adventure — from brainstorming designs to machining custom parts, wiring electronics, and fine-tuning code.

To bring our 2025 season robot to life, we need reliable tools, sturdy materials, and a way to share our team’s story with others.

With your support, we hope to fund:

3 CRAFTSMAN Lockable 20-inch Tool Boxes — to keep our parts and tools organized for competitions.

5 Clear Cast Acrylic Sheets (1/4" thick) — for strong, lightweight robot panels and guards.

5 Bambu Lab PLA Filament spools — to 3D print custom parts.

Hi-Spec 124-piece Mechanics Tool Set — for essential assembly and repairs.

DEWALT 84-piece Mechanics Tool Set and 100-piece Drill/Screwdriver Bit Set — for precision construction and adjustments.

2 Dremel EZ Lock Cut-Off Wheel Packs and Cordless Rotary Tool — for cutting and shaping custom components.

5 packs Key Chain Swivel Hooks — to create team keychain giveaways for other teams at competitions, strengthening community connections.
