Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Learning to read is a key skill in Kindergarten. The goal of this project is to use the decodable books to continue to help my students develop in their reading.
Having accessible decodable books for my students is key to encouraging and fostering confident readers.
As my students learn new spelling patterns I am excited to introduce books that support the skills that they have learned. This will allow them the time to put their new found skills into action. I would love to then allow my students to take these books where they can also practice their reading.
