My Project

Small group instruction is a special time of day when students work in groups of 3-5 on reading skills and strategies that they are learning. These decodable readers will be at the beginning level for many of our young readers, and levels every student will progress through. By providing them these books they will learn to become confident and proud readers.

Decodable readers are supported by research and are considered best practice for developing readers.

Empowering students by placing books they can read is an important part of reading development.
