My Project
As a primary grade teacher, I have seen the impact that COVID-19 has had on my students, especially their reading development. These books and tools will allow my students to read decodable texts that focus on the phonics skill we are currently focusing on in class. They will have access to books they can read independently and books they can take home to practice with parents. Also, the cushions will allow for a cozy spot to read with a friend. Thank you for considering my grant proposal and helping my students be fluent confident readers!
