it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students thrive in a school environment saturated in print, and I want to provide those resources to help my students reach their fullest potential while cultivating a passion for learning. Our school's balanced literacy program focuses on guided reading, a focused reading group that is organized, structured, planned, and supported by the teachers across the campus in a teamwork approach. We serve students of all abilities ranging from special education, English language learners and gifted and talented. This will afford them the opportunity to delve more fully into the content area of different stories and build their background knowledge while pursuing areas of interest to them.
