Decodable Readers for Purposeful Practice

Help me give my students decodable readers to continue their phonics practice in independent and small group learning. I have readers reading BGL, and having these books will help them grow in confidence with their phonics skills!

My Project

These decodable readers will be used in phonics small groups, reading groups, and independent work time during our literacy block.

I hope to give ALL my readers multiple opportunities to practice a phonics skill with independence.

This practice will not only grow their decoding (reading words) but also strengthen their encoding (writing). While I love using technology and the amazing decodable resources out there, I would like to have physical books to put in their hands to apply their knowledge.

My students have the drive and motivation to continue their phonics learning in small groups and independent settings. I want to give them all the resources available to be successful in their growth of phonics learning!

Ms. Marshall will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 18.
