My Project
The students in front of me everyday deserve high quality, engaging text to use when learning to read new phonics patterns. Motivation is key when learning a new skill, and the storylines and illustrations in these Phonic Books series will provide that.
Many of my students are Multilingual Learners who are learning how to read in English at an older age. They need books that honor their intelligence and do not feel "babyish" for them as they work hard to master decoding in English. These books will provide students with the necessary opportunities for practicing taught patterns in connected text.
