Decodable Books for First Graders

Help me give my students decodable books to read during independent reading time in first grade.

My Project

Students in my class are learning to read. A combination of predictable, guided reading texts, our Benchmark curriculum, and decodable texts will ensure that all students will be successful readers.

My school has families who want to help their children learn to read, but books at emergent and early beginning reading levels are often difficult to find.

With these books, I can allow students to practice reading independently at school and will allow me to have enough books for students to read at home. Providing students with books at their levels will increase confidence and independence.
