My Project

Help give my 1st-grade students decodable books to give them the confidence to read independently on the different phonics skills they need. These books are geared toward silent e and vowel team patterns that are a focus in 1st grade to learn.

Having decodable books focused on the phonics pattern they are learning will help them transfer their skills to reading.

I have only some decodable books in the classroom and I hear from the students saying that those are their favorite books since they can read them and solve words on their own
