Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach in a school that is in a rural area. My students come from a variety of backgrounds. Our classroom environment lacks adequate storage, and our classroom furniture is outdated and will not be replaced in the forseeable future.

Rolling carts will help my students stay organized, focused, and on task during the school day.

Due to our lack of storage, our supplies are stored all around the classroom. This leads to a lot of wasted minutes during transitions and lessons to retrieve books and materials. Rolling carts will allow for storage of curriculum and supplies next to student desks within their reach. This will help to keep supplies orderly, neat, and available while encouraging personal responsibility and developing self care skills.
