it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me provide my senior class with the chance to win a speaker and headphones to support their post-secondary journeys! At the end of each academic year, my program at our high school celebrates the hard work and dedication of our college-bound seniors with a special Decision Day event. Seniors who have applied to any college or university are invited to join this celebration, where they’ll have the opportunity to select from a variety of prizes designed to support their academic and personal growth.
Among the prizes are valuable technology items like speakers, headphones, and iPads—tools that will help students both academically and personally.
Music heals!!! Many students at our high school will be first-generation college goers, navigating new academic and personal challenges. Music can be a grounding force, helping students manage stress, reduce anxiety, and boost focus and motivation. Speakers and headphones provide an outlet for relaxation and self-expression, offering a way to unwind after a tough day or stay focused during study sessions. By fostering connection and emotional resilience, music helps students cope with the trials and tribulations of their post-secondary journeys, making it a vital tool for mental well-being.
