My Project

This is my second year serving as a College Advisor at a high school that is founded on the values of hard work, persistence, and success. The Class of 2023 is no different from these core values. Every year, we host a Decision Day Raffle in May to celebrate PHS seniors' success and hard work, and to provide them with items they will need for their postsecondary journeys. In a rural community like ours, having access to resources that benefit a student's college journey means a future of success.

1 in 3 students in our county lives in asset-limited, income-constrained but educated households.

Despite this statistic, many of our students, some of whom will be the first in their families to attend college, will be fulfilling their life's purpose of attending a postsecondary institution. Your generous contribution helps alleviate the financial obstacle of purchasing necessary items they need for their college journey, such as a laptop, and create futures full of economic prosperity.
