This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are hardworking dedicated and passionate about community and global issues. They love being on our school debate team which allows them to speak about these issues. Being a part of a debate team gives them a fun way of developing their oral skills, critical thinking and improve their confidence level and communication skills. Giving our team members Debate team hoodies would not only boost their confidence but allow them to show united and togetherness. They have been working so hard researching their topics that this would put a big smile on their faces and prepare them for competition day, where they will compete against others schools in their District.
