Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students have been working really hard to follow through with our three core values (Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible) day in and day out. In class, they remain humble and kind to the best of their abilities. They've all been actively engaging in taking control of their own learning. Most, if not all, have worked hard this first semester and have shown some growth. Because of this, I would love to show them a great Christmas. These incentives will serve as a reward for their hard work and effort, while also promoting continued good citizenship. My students have been learning about being safe, respectful, and responsible all year long. They set daily goals and work towards achieving them, so that they can work towards filling up their brag board by supporting each other and holding each other accountable along the way. Every little good thing and any amount of effort they portray throughout the day is an opportunity for them to gain positive points in ClassDojo or a point on their brag board. The pencils, fidgets, and stickers will help students stay focused and motivated while working on their daily goals.
