it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Even though we are doing much better with Covid, our students are still dealing with the repercussion of the pandemic. Since most students have been home for so long, they are now showing signs of anxiety to a lot of different stressors. Seeing so many feelings on my young people's faces inspire me to provide them with some stress relief materials to alleviate their anxiety and increase their will for learning. Students need consistency, a stable environment to be able to fully learn and that has been nearly impossible during the pandemic.

Giving students tools and techniques to alleviate their stress will improve their mental health and their educational life. The notebooks will be used a journal so students can track their emotional states so they can decide what they want to discuss with their counselors. The fidget toys and scratch papers will be made available to students as a way to relieve stress. Some students like to color or draw as a stress relief tool.
