Deaf/Hard of Hearing Preschool Lunch Table Needed

My students need preschool lunch table just their size so they can each lunch with comfort and ease.

My Students

This school for the deaf serves students in grades kindergarten through 12th grade. We have not had a preschool since 1998. Recent legislation has allowed us to reestablish a preschool program to serve our population of students. These students will have early exposure to language and be able to successfully communicate with their families and friends.

We will be starting a preschool for deaf/hard of hearing students.

The skills acquired in preschool will enable these students to build a solid foundation and be academically prepared.

My Project

The preschool lunch table will allow the preschoolers to eat their lunch at a table made just for their size. This table will be placed in the elementary lunch room so that the preschoolers can see who their future peers will be when they finish preschool. Currently, there are no tables in the cafeteria that the preschoolers would be able to sit at that will allow their feet to touch the floor. Your donation to the preschool lunch table will help the students to feel included and valued. We want the preschoolers to know that they matter, and that school is an important place to be!
