Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I would love to get a set of sign videos for my deaf and hard of hearing preschool kids. All the kids in our program come to school with very little language. Our job is to give them the language they need to communicate. The DVD's I would like to get would fit right in with our preschool curriculum. They are a fun, interactive way for the kids to learn basic sign vocabulary. They would be great reinforcement for the hands on activities we do in class. Our kids, like all kids, love to watch videos. Our deaf and hard of hearing kids spend time at home watching videos which they enjoy. The trouble is that they usually do not have anyone to explain through sign what is going on in the videos, to give them the language of what is happening. These videos would be a great resource for our preschool class and a great learning tool for our children. Thank you for helping our children become successful students.
