My Project

I am the behavioral interventionist and would like to add these items to my room to help with de-escalation, re-focus, and overstimulation. The sensory items, such as the squishy and fish lamp, will help students when they need to take a moment to calm down. These items will help keep their minds and hands busy and focus on that specific item, straying away from the escalated feelings. The games will provide brain exercises and can be used during group time. The weighted animal will provide comfort for students who have heightened emotions.
