My Students

I have the opportunity to work with very driven Sophomores in our school! I am a part of the FLEX program for accelerated students! We love to read in World History, and I am buying this book for the students to complete while we are working on completing the course over the span of a school year. Covid continues to hit our schools and is really hard on the students. We are finding relief in reading and success in books that give students a tangible guide to their learning.

I want to purchase these books to take their books and knowledge with them to the next stage of their life.

My Project

Covid has been hard on students and continues to discourage them. We are in hard times and continue to fight to get back to normalcy and a sense of belonging. These books help encourage the students to connect and to continue to learn about their world and the world's challenges in the past. I have noticed that students need something tangible to have in their hands that they can connect with and have to see and hold that helps them progress through the chapters and learn with partners and as a class.
