Our elementary school is a relatively small school comprised of four Special Education classes that service students with Autism. The classes are on the Core Curriculum, and the students are generally bused in from all areas throughout Gardena. The students are highly motivated and enjoy their PE classes.
I provide a safe and fun environment where I teach and promote the importance of lifelong physical activity.
Part of the day I teach in a whole group setting, while the other parts are spent in small group settings. In the small groups I can pinpoint and focus on individual weaknesses and needs. We are a low income, Title I school, made up of ELD and SEL students.
For the amount of printing that is required in today's classrooms, one would be surprised how much printing is needed outside the classroom! Every teacher including P.E. teachers need a good reliable printer. Slow jet printers and expensive ink cartridges are a thing of the past.
I want to have the capability to print color signs, instructions, and letters for my Adaptive Physical Education students.
My students are becoming very excited about their P.E. program. As we get them ready to compete in soccer and track and field against other schools. I want my students to become involved in data recording for various track and field events. With a printer, toner, paper and erasable pens, I will make sure no data goes missed.
