My Project
Our fifth graders are about to enter middle school where there will be multiple subjects they will be assessed on. I want my students to have data binders to help them understand grades and keep track of their own progress. I feel data binders also help students take ownership over their own learning because they will know their strengths and weaknesses.
Students need to take responsibility for their own learning.
Not only will students keep track of their scores in all subject areas, but students will be required to complete self-reflections each week on each subject area.
