My Students

Jerstad Agerholm School is on the north side of Racine, WI. We have a very diverse population both ethnically and in terms of socio- economic status. 71% of our school's population qualify for free or reduced lunch. Our school is comprised off about 950 4K-8 students. We are working hard educate bright little minds who will be our future, but also compassionate souls who will look out for one another. So far this school year, I feel we are succeeding.

My Project

My students will be using data binders to keep track of their progress through out the year. They will be keeping track of their progresss in each of the Common Core State Standards, on their Hundred's Clubs (a weekly challenge) and they will store their work in these binders.

In the past I have used folders or asked students to bring in binders but that has not been a good solution since the folders are not big enough and hard to keep organized, and not all students are able to bring in all the supplies they are asked to bring.
