My Students

Our students come from predominantly low-income families. We are a Title I school which means 90% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. That fact by no means diminishes their levels of intelligence. My students are very eager to learn and love to give the right answers. They still love school at this age and overcome struggles with a smile. We are always looking for ways to make learning more fun and adventurous! Technology is one of our favorite ways to do so!

My Project

The requested Wonder Workshop Dash Robot Programs will provide my students with an opportunity to learn coding and programming skills for use in our technological world. It will also allow them to build team collaboration, creative and higher order thinking skills while learning about academic disciplines of S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).

Many young children know how to play the games or activities but have never had the chance to create or program one.

We are living in a world full of technology that is constantly changing. By teaching my students coding and programming today, I believe that they will be master programmers in the future.
