Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All of our students want to learn to code at least once in their lives. Our classes just need to have the necessary materials in order to make it fun and educational. In class the Dash robot accessories that our robots needs will provide the opportunity for many kids at a time to play with coding in the classroom comfortably. This helps them with the basic idea of coding and it also helps to build the self-esteem that they need. We will be able to take these with us around the building and compete with students in the same grades at neighborhood schools.
The robot sets will play many roles in the program for the students.
First and foremost, it will give all students a chance to code in class using a fun way. They can control the robot in more entertaining ways while they play and continue to practice without any distractions. This will enhance the environment not only in the classroom, but in the lives of the students as well.
