My students need a Wonder mat for Dash, Dash launcher, and Osmo Pizza kits to enhance our STEAM experiences during Maker Space and also add more hands on to our math centers.
My students bring such joy to my life, and I am thankful to be their teacher. We seriously have some of the best students in our small town elementary school. I know that every school and every teacher says that, but I know just how amazing our students are.
We are over 60% free or reduced price lunch, but together our community, parents, and staff work together to get everything we need.
I am so grateful to have wonderful people like you also partnering with us to help get our students everything they so deserve.
My Project
Every Friday we have Maker Space. It is one of my student's favorite times of the week.
My students are very active.
I am always excited to try to find activities that are best for them.
Our Maker Space has many different STEAM stations. The more stations we have, the different types of learning, building, designing, and creating that can go on. I like having my students be in groups of two, to really see their full potentials and to give students the most time with their hands on the activities.
The Dash launcher and Wonder mat would expand how we can use Dash. The Pizza kits would allow us to incorporate more math into a Maker Space station as well as give us another option during guided math. Maker Space is an important part of our STEAM learning. We also use these stations for inside recess, which would be great during the rainy weather these last weeks of school.
