My Students

My students are bright, funny, curious and kind. They are always supportive of one another and thrive in our school family. They crave to be pushed academically and I want to be their catalyst to achieve success in their own education. Our class has six girls and nine boys! We have a unique, brand new, K-8 school and I am always looking for opportunities for my class to interact and collaborate with students in higher grades. The students will learn how to program the robots and will be able to build their confidence by teaching their peers. We are trailblazing and creating traditions!

My Project

"Designed for learning, engineered for fun!" These award winning robots and age-appropriate apps encourage hands-on play and learning to make creative problem-solving concrete and tangible. The vision is to inspire kids by giving them tools to imagine and invent the future. We need an additional tablet to run the programs for the robots as well as some new headphones. The students will be involved in cross-curricular learning while working together in teams. My students can watch their virtual coding turn into tangible learning experiences in real time as Dash, with its performance and multiple sensors, interacts with and responds to its surroundings.
