Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My second grade classroom is a safe place for learning and becoming respectful, responsible students. My students come to school each day, eager to learn. My second grade classroom is a place for students to grow. With all of the challenges of society today, my classroom is an environment for students to explore, challenge themselves, and share ideas with each other while learning essential standards.
Technology and coding skills create a growth mindset for my kids.
With technology growing and advancing so quickly, it is so important for my students to move begin acquiring the skills needed to be successful in the future.
My Project
With technology advancing so quickly, it is important for my kids to begin to understand how technology works. Beginning with Coding, my students will get a chance to learn how to control a robot and understand how important each step that is given must be in a certain order to be successful.
Dash and Dot will give my students a chance to learn how to code and control a robot.
It will be fun and very educational. The students will work cooperatively and learn together. Dash and Dot will challenge my students as they work towards an understanding of technology in the future.
