Help me give my students the opportunity to design and produce objects using the crict machine and design program to create unique t shirts, bags, etc.

My Students

I teach lower functioning students with more severe disabilities. The disabilities include intellectual and physical disabilities and autism.

Students learn functional daily living skills, hands-on job skills, and academic skills.

These students come to school each day fired up to work and learn in order to become a better version of themselves.

My Project

The cricut machine, design program, and accessories for Darling Designers will allow students the opportunity to learn design techniques, practice measurement techniques, and produce items for every day use inside and outside of the classroom.

Students who function on a lower academic level need daily practice with measuring and computer skills.

The items will be used to teach students a computer based design app and clearly expresses how proper measurements are important in design.

I believe this opportunity can provide a different way for students to practice measurement skills on their own while using their creativity to produce a functional item.
