Dancin' up to the Barre!

My students need more ballet barres for their ballet class. The Ballet Class at our school is in its second year and happily expanding! Two more barres would help a lot

My Students

Support for ballet means a barre! Literally! Every artist needs to learn the basics of their art, and for dancers, this is ballet. Our performing arts academy now offers ballet during the school day and needs study, reliable, safe barres for class!

You will never find a more diverse student population of dancers!

Hawaiian, Asian, Polynesian, Caucasian, African-American, Latino - almost anything! But they all share a LOVE for dance! Many attend school out of their district just to attend our school. With a four year sequenced dance curriculum, dance studio, and technical support, many of our students go on to conservatories, college dance programs and professional careers!

My Project

Ballet barre work is basic to the development of dance. Our students are blessed with a proper dance studio, a wonderful theatre performing space and great support from family and friends. But being a public school, the funds are slim and those wonderful family and friends are already stretching their dollars just to buy the dance shoes and attend the performance events. Every 'extra' - no matter if a basic need - has a price!
