Dancer and Dance Room Needs

My Project

Since the beginning of the year and entering our school last year, I strive for a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for my dancers. They know they can come to me if they are in need of something.

This can range from a snack, hair tie, deodorant, perfume, lotion, band-aids, ice packs, safety pins, and so on.

Unfortunately, many of my students do not eat the school provided lunch and are often hungry - my goal is to always have healthy snacks on hand if a dancer is feeling depleted.

Additionally, our wipes, sanitizer solution, swiffer pads and refills, hand sanitizer and tissues need to be replenished and continue to be used to keep our floors, surfaces, and each other safe.

When students feel supported in an environment and with a teacher they feel comfortable to come to, it makes school a more pleasant place to be!

Ms. Friedman-Kats Bard High School - Early College Grades 9-12
