I teach in one of the largest school districts in the country at a low income/high performing elementary school. My students are a mix of kindergarten through 5th grade students that are on my dance team.
My students are little sponges that are ready to learn and grow!
These kids have many hidden talents and they love being able to grow their skills, work as a team, and be a part of a performance team that boosts their self-esteem. They are awesome little people that deserve the very best!
My Project
I coach our awesome Elementary School dance team. They are extremely hardworking and talented girls and boys ranging from Kindergarten to 5th grade. They practice two hours a week and perform at various school and community events. Our dance students need new pieces to their uniform to replace old and damaged pieces. We would like to purchase new long sleeved body suits for our dancers to wear during the fall and winter performances to keep them warm. These new uniform pieces will give our dancers confidence in their unified appearance.
