This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are in 2nd Grade at a New York City Public School. Most of my students are English language learners, eager to learn and discover. Each student is unique in his or her way and deserves to have the best educational experience possible. In addition, my students receive free or reduced-price lunches.
Unfortunately, my classroom does not always have the supplies we need.
My class needs laminating paper. Our school supplies laminating paper, however with how much we use our classroom materials, the laminating paper does not withstand the daily wear and tear. I have to buy laminating paper to laminate it personally to avoid re-laminating materials due to thin laminating paper.
