My Students

My classroom consists of 26 five and six year old students. They are curious about the world, ready to learn, and enjoying all the joys of kindergarten.

Kindergarten should be a time full of amazing experiences and learning through exploration.

That is what I strive to provide for my students daily!

They are full of energy, full of life, and have a true love for learning. We are located in Indiana, at an elementary school of more than 1,000 students. I teach the ENL Inclusion classroom. I currently have 13 ENL students and 6 language spoken in my classroom.

My Project

These stools with make a difference in my classroom environment during Daily 5 centers in our literacy block. These stools will give my students the flexibility to move freely on their seat while working. They also allow them to stand up as needed easily for all hands on learning.

Comfortable seats are a must in a learning environment.

Students often feel confined and limited in traditional seats, which can often distract them from what is happening in the classroom. Not only will these seats be comfortable and free, but they are easily movable to give the students independence about where in the classroom they want to work while learning.
